Kapenguria museum is the site where the famous Kapenguria 6 were imprisoned in 1952 as they were fighting for independence. In the site you will find six distinct cells for each of the Kapenguria 6. Kapenguria six Cells

Each of the Kapenguria 6 had his own cell which can be viewed . Each cell contains a short history of their life and a photo of themselves. Accompanied by a guide you will be able to learn more about these famous individuals.

The Cherangani Gallery

This is a gallery that showcases the West Pokot Culture. It contains various artefacts such as guards , clothing, musical instruments,war gear and food preparation items that were used during the precolonial times.

The Agricultural Pokot Homestead

This section contains some hits which closely resemble the ones which might have been used by the West Pokot during the precolonial times. There are three huts in total ,one for the man the head of the homestead(Karachinah), another for the first wife(Chewow) and a final one for the second wife (Chemnungwo). Inside the huts you will find a fireplace , beds and pens used to keep farm animals such as sheep and goat

Political Development Gallery

This section contains the cells where petty offended people were kept. Currently, the place is being used as a hall where people can learn more about the Mau Mau and the struggle for independence
